Dawn Foster

I have 3 boys - one diagnosed with ADD, one with ADHD and a learning disability, and one with ADD, OCD, bi-polar disorder and high-functioning autism.  All diagnosis were made at around 4-5 years old and were reconfirmed within several states (Washington, South Carolina and Arizona) and over several years by different medical doctors, general practice child psychologists, school psychologists and their poor classroom teachers.

When a friend, Donna Terry, shared information about her study of brain integration therapy, I responded, “Oh, ok.  Uh-huh.  Well, that sounds interesting.”  I was under no illusion that it would have any effect on my boys whatsoever.  Ten plus years of ever increasing dosages of medicine and  psychology – although helpful but not a cure – had only helped my boys to maintain, not improve.  How could this?

I agreed to have Donna perform brain integration therapy on my boys because she was a friend and I thought we really didn't have anything to lose – who knows, it may actually even work.  And much to my surprise, it DID work.

My oldest son who struggled with a learning disability is now in honors' classes, doing well and preparing for college.  All without medicine for the past 2 + years.

My second oldest son has stopped taking multiple medications for ADD, OCD and bi-polar symptoms.  While he still struggles in some areas such as impulsivity, he is able to maintain control of many symptoms and is earning high grades at grade level in school without the myriad of medication he was previously required to take simply to attempt to function in society.  He has issues but, since he's a teenager, I can expect he will grow out of those :-)

My youngest son is also no longer on any medication for his ADHD symptoms.  He has moved up a grade in school and is a competitive level five gymnast.

It has been wonderful to see the improvements in the boys after brain integration therapy.  Having them medicated for so many years against my better judgement yet feeling I had no choice due to school systems ill-equipped to handle them – I do not hesitate to recommend brain integration therapy.

Sincerely,
